Is there a flyby view in FS9?

Featured Replies

just wondering if there is a fly by view, and how do I see it?ThanksJeff

there is no fly by view by default in FS9. active camera gives you a fly by view in addition to may other views and effects, although it is now payware. there are a couple of other freeware utilities; the flight one version allows you to move around the V/cabin, but AFAIK does not allow fly by, the other utility FSCamera allows fly by and other outside views, but does not allow you to "walk" around the inside of the plane.also niether of these utilities give you the head latency and ease of use of active cam, but if you just want to view inside the plane and have fly by they should do, although i am not sure if they can be used together.

Hi there. I downloaded a file called Flyby14.zip for fs9 and this replaces the tower view and is adjustable. I don't know if this is what you were after, but this is a good utility anyway.imho!

There is actually a default fly by view in FS9, but it is a bit complicated to be set up.You can place the tower at any coordinates at any altidude. Thus place it somewhere along your flight path, go to "Tower View" and wait till your plane will pass the tower. :-)Wolfgang
