May 24, 201412 yr ...at 30fps. I'll start a flight and about 10 minutes in, it flips back to unlimited. 30fps is set both globally and in the P3D profile. Anyone else observer this behavior? Thanks, Mark
May 24, 201412 yr I had this behavior with the last certified Nvidia driver. Using the latest beta driver - 337.50 solved this issue. Dragos I9-13900K/ Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC/ Aorus Master Z790/ Kingston 64GB@6000Mhz DDR 5/ 2TB nvme 0.2 Samsung 980 PRO/ Deepcool LS720
May 24, 201412 yr Author I'm using the 335's. Maybe I'll try the beta but everything else is working great.

The frame rate limiter seems to be broke, working for about 10 minutes into a flight in both full screen and windowed modethen somehow reverting to unlimited.. I'll start looking for plan B, whatever that may be.
May 25, 201412 yr Author Good question. Running unlimited in P3D and setting Inspector limiter to 30 gives the best smooth ride on my system. I've tried, probably with some others, every other combination possible and this is the best. I have no idea why the limiter works for a while and then stops. You would think this would be an either/or proposition. I haven't found any meaningful info on this anywhere, unfortunately.

May 25, 201412 yr I have found the NI is all but pretty much useless now with P3D. In FSX is worked for almost everything, in P3D, it is simply broke. Either Nvidia and the drivers are holding it back, or we are holding onto old software that does not really work with P3D. The only thing I have found that works with P3D and NI is the Transparency AA and that it minimal at best. For some reason, at least on my system, Brute Force settings via NI for P3D don't seem to work. Thankfully P3D has some pretty good default settings, and with a new Driver from Nvidia supporting it, I would think soon we won't even need NI like in more current Sims/Games. William Sequeira
May 25, 201412 yr Author Amen to that William. I've found running at 60fps within P3d approximates the unlimited/NI combination that works some of the time. I can get away with this because I only run photoscenery and run all sliders at mid level or below. Amen to that William. May 25, 201412 yr Ya, I run it unlimited in the program, but have yet to really run into trouble. I don't have that bad of a system, my GPU is getting a little long in the teeth though, but I have pretty basic addons installed. Pretty much just ASN, REX4, FTX Global and the Dash8. Not a lot of stress on the computer. I will try 60, as I know limiting it will help overall, especially when up high and not needed. William Sequeira
