February 23, 200521 yr Hey guys...lately im having this wierd problem where my airspeed suddenly is at 45 (while im cruising at 32000ft and my IAS was at 300) i have no idea why it does this...can anyone help me? (this happens on different panels)cheersNick
February 23, 200521 yr Hi Nick,one possibility is icing, do you have pitot heat on? If not it can ice over and voila, no airspeed!. I also understand from various threads on the forums that sometimes using the pitot heat switch on the panel does not actually activate the heater, and to be certain it's on you have to use the appropriate fs9 key commands.Steve
