May 26, 201412 yr Some more pics of the Iris LSA..... One thing the package did not include was a US registered paint, so I added one. One nice feature is a config popup which can add/remove the wheel pants, and change the prop from a wood to a composite prop..... Pictures are over Sun City, AZ and Surprise, AZ... Enjoy John
May 26, 201412 yr Nice pics! Does it say in the documentation how many knots the wheel pants add? I always thought they were mostly cosmetic, and just another thing to TFOA. (How many know that acronym without Goolge'ing it?) I've seen some pretty ratty looking ones that seemed to be hangin on by a few threads of fiberglass back in the day when I worked on a GA ramp. Regards, Steve Dra No reference in the documentation--the wheel pants and online popup only change the visual appearance, not the flight dynamics. I flew one LSA of similar size and shape, and the CFI said the wheel pants added 3-5 kts. He preferred to fly with them off. John
