May 26, 201412 yr I am running Active Sky Next for my weather engine and REX 4 for my cloud textures. Now ASN is supposed to tell FSX where to position the clouds in respect of the live weather mode. However, the rendering of the clouds is not happening correctly and as an example when flying at say30,000 feet I see clear grounds below with no cumulus clouds when the weather engine states overcast clouds below etc. Now,I believe that this is an FSX problem and I am wondering whether anyone might be able to point me in the right direction as to where this issue may be arising from within FSX. I have been in contact with both ASN and REX and they both believe this to be an FSX issue but I do not know where to go from here. I would appreciate any assistance. Many thanks in anticipation. May 27, 201412 yr Set it back to default Michael. You don't need to set it to 12 for ASN. Make sure enhanced cloud coverage is ticked in ASN settings System: MSFS2024, ASUS Rog Stryx Z790-A, Intel i9-14900KF, Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 , Asus Hyperion Case,Rog Stryx 4090 OC, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD,64Gb G Skill Memory, Asus Aura 1200W Gold PSU,Win 11 ,LG C4 48" 4K OLED Screen., Airbus TCA Full Kit, Stream Deck XL. May 27, 201412 yr Commercial Member Hi Michael, do (did) you use dx10? There are some issues with disappearing clouds when using dx10 and I think Steve (dx- fixer), has already resolved it. Kostas Terzides
