"I'd like to make my flights a bit more realistic"

 

placing a major flight control surface in auto mode wont make it realistic. One of the most enjoyable challenges in simming is nailing the crosswind landing and you wont be able to do that either.

 

IMO if you want realism , grab the Microsoft SW force feedback stick with twist rudder and FSforce  software  or get pedals :-)

I have both the Saitek and the CH yokes. Saitek wins, hands down.
