Moving Flight to an SSD.

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if Flight can be moved from the C drive to an SSD?

I think the rebirth of Flight  is around the corner!

Yes i did it a year ago.

You have to change the paths in the GFWL client and copy all related files.

if i remember correct, i "reinstalled" the base game to the SSD, and aftrerwards just copied the DLC`s.

You will get a significant performance gain in anything that's disk intensive.  Those long, dreary load times are greatly reduced.

I agree with Heimi. It's better to just re-install flight onto the SSD, without complicating yourself on DLC Paths, GFWL Paths, Scenery Indexes, Shared Flight content.... and yes the list continues! It would take a long time to configure!

If you are just going to copy the game onto a SSD, the game would work but DLC will be missing.

     Have fun! :)
