June 11, 201411 yr I have Specific info on a B777-200ER like EOW MZFW, MTOW, MLW equip etc. If I change the the Empty Weight in the CFG file to match the info i have, I will be lowering the weight. Will that screw up the FMC calculations and fuel flow parameters. what about changing the MZFW, MTOW, MLW MRMP? Im guessing that it will mess things up so Im asking before i do it. Thanks in advance! It most likely will mess things up. I believe a lot of those numbers, although in the CFG file, are actually hard coded in the FMC and .dll programming. Also, the PMDG product is a -200LR, and I believe has only one MTOW option, unlike the actual -200ER. Are you trying to make the -200LR into a -200ER ??? Wes Meyer
June 11, 201411 yr Author Yup thats what I wanted to do until the 200ER came out, IF its comes out. If the numbers are coded in to the FMS then there is no sense in changing it i just thought Id better ask before destroying this really nice plane Scott Redden 121 Ramp Ops, Aircraft Dispatcher, ASEL: C150, C172, PA28-160 System: Intel I7-8700k @ 3.7Ghz, 16.0 GB, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Ti

In fact a lot of the flights I do are less than 4 hours, so I often end up with derates of around 88% N1 , that's around 96,000lbs thrust, with take off weights of around 230-250 tons, all within -200ER territory. I realize the empty weight of the -200LR is more than the -200ER, but you might just have to live with this... Wes Meyer
June 12, 201411 yr Commercial Member Yes, this will mess things up - the FMC's calculations are based on the weights and stuff set in the cfg - you can't change how it responds to them. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
