some minor issues with 2.3

Recommended Posts

Hi Steve

Just something to look at .

In the DX10 Controller 2.3

Water options:

the text for "Sky Reflections MAX" and "Sky Reflections MIN should be switch.

In the DX10toolbox :

FSX.CFG section

FIBRE Time Fraction should be FIBER Time Fraction

regarding FIBRE Time Fraction should be FIBER Time Fraction

This is also why it is not recognized in the fsx.cfg

I also had issues with v2.3 build 60.

I had black cloud graphic flashes, and a general loss of 4-5 fps across the board, with the same settings on.

I uninstalled 2.3, cleaned the Registry, and rebooted.  Installed prior 2.2, build 45, and reset all my standard options.  Fired up FSX/DX10 and all was well again, prior FPS performance, and no further black texture missing cloud flash as I panned or swept the sky.  All good again...so sticking with 2.2/45 until another build is introduced, if that is to be....

Anyone know where you can get installers for prior versions from? I updated to 2.3 and (unless my mind is playing tricks) flashing water tiles seems worse than I remember. Was going to downgrade but the only other version I've got an installer for is ancient (1.4).
