ATC window on remote computer?

Featured Replies

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times, but I've been searching for two days now and can't find an answer. Is there any software (SImConnect, FSUIPC, WideFS) that will allow me to put the ATC window and GPS window on a remote computer? I'm using Panel Builder with a spare monitor on a networked laptop, but that gives me the laptop's native screen to use for some real estate. I would love to move these two things to that screen. Freeware, payware, whatever, I just need a solution!

Maxivista will allow you to use a networked screen as you wish.

Thanks for the reply, Jim. I have used that before, actually. I'm not sure if I can use my laptop's main screen with my PC, but control the laptop's secondary screen with the laptop, if that makes sense. But then I saw Maxivista works with iPad now, and got really excited. I think this is the perfect solution. And for ten bucks. Excellent. Thanks again!

Do you have to run FSX windowed for that to work?

Ric,

Honestly not sure. I was using MaxiVista way back in the day with FS 2004 and when the typical graphics card only had one output. I don't even have my license code anymore to be able to check.
