There is a place for buffer pools when there is a gross differential between CPU and GPU. I cured mine by replacing my GPU with a GTX 680, no more buffer pool needed.

Let me start with, Jim is correct in my opinion, the less tweaks the better. I just really, really wish people would quit chasing the FPS tail. FPS means nothing in FSX, it is "Fluidity" you are looking for. I am getting fluid frame rates as low as 13 FPS at times. Forget FPS, concentrate on fluid frames.

Works great for me, no significant frame rate loss with Immersion.

I use AIDupe and I use Air Traffic Manager. You have this huge AI bubble in FSX that needs to be cleared of AI that don't need to be there.

As I said earlier, I don't believe FSRecorder works in FSX-SE. Check this link.

A lot of videos are done using FSRecorder and as far as I know, that is not possible in FSX-SE.

Start here. In FSX.cfg, less is better. Firstly, I don't believe you need any bufferpools with your video card. Secondly, If you aren't already, you should try DX10 with Steve's DX10 Fixer. I did and I'm not looking back.

If your settings are low enough you won't.

thanks for the good advice, I do make it a regular habit to create restore points when things are uncertain. The problem with that position is that these erroneous entries can slowly cause issues you either get use to or don't notice. Also the registry can harbor Gremlins that can attack when least expected and that is what I try to protect against.

Thanks, i noticed after running it the first time and running it right away it found more issues.
