Taburet 3d lights But

Featured Replies

Sweet product but unusable - let me explain we know I have a serious rig but this program is loading thousands of lights around major cities which makes it a slide show - in the burbs not to bad but even then the sim is actually stopping for a few seconds then proceeds which is not good

Next takes 1 1/2 to 2 mins to load any airport that is in the region - to bad had high hopes for this product - back to the drawing board - I know X-plane - thats not happening

Its is stunning at night - this was at dusk - picture does not do it justice its really nice

This was the Mass - Me - Vt - Nh - Ct - Ri product

The same is for Night Environment. Looks SOOO beautiful, but it is a performance and VAS mess.

Well aware of that Dave and working with developer as the original seems to be the best so far - I wont get into that - but I have received new files to test and I will let you know after my work day

Indeed stunning!

Thanks Billy - if there's one thing that screams fix me in FSX or P3D is the night lighting its bad after seeing this stuff at night at elevation is was stunning to see the all of cape cod lit up from half way to Boston amazing just unusable and thats with all of my scenery sliders on sparse - but still had a lot of lights - I think an edition of a menu system that can help control whats going on is in order

Thanks for sharing this info. Anyway, I would never buy any of these products.

I think an alternative is UTX V2 - just installed it and ready to fire it up - I know its been beaten to death but the light pop is an issue with this product but seems to be the way sim handles it not UTX fault

FYI You really need to know what you are doing when assigning the lights in the menu as they are not installed until you make your choices

Rich, that looks awesome.. and also LM have acknowledged a bug with 3.1 so we will see a fix for performance in 3.2 for nightlighting, so hang in there Bud...!!

Well Rick that would be awesome as after using these lights without it - the night ops is terrible

Sorry to complain but I always state the obvious - just loaded UTX V2 and that was not very inspiring also - if someone could make a true night experience without the hit they would make a ton - the old UTX V1  was pretty nice but probably got sick of hearing all the complaints with the fps issues

Great shot!  Must say it does look beautiful.

This also affects Tab Night lights because it draws from an XML.... and if you want to reload 2.5 and try it there you will see it works fine with no slow load times or fps hit.

This is all I could find on it - freezing simulator - I am experiencing this as you fly along - thread locked - thats not a good sign

I have roughly 45GB of Taburet lights. Just waiting for 3.2 to come along which from what I know should be sooner than later.

Also, if you're having frame issues in some regions, you can remove the residential files from the scenery folder. That helps a lot.
