why is Tess is OFF?

 

I was under the impression that tess is causing the issue? Turning it on again simply removes much of the glow and bloom.

Thanks to this thread I downloaded NE for PA (which I posted about in another spot in the forums), and last night Tab for the Rocky Mountain region. I like the variety and control NE gives, and it looks more realistic to me, but Tab looks great and I couldn't beat the price and coverage. Chris, I love your product and I look forward to when NE is out for more of the US. Here are some shots from my first flight with Taburet. I'm going to play with the HDR settings and see if I can tone them down a bit (full gallery here). Frame rates were OK (15-20, without moving to my night graphics settings). When flying in PA I'll stick with NE.
