March 13, 201610 yr Hello pilots! I fly with proatcx, but it does not really separate traffic in the air - Because of this I often run into TCAS warnings (descent descent, climb....) which is very annoying on landings and takeoffs. I dont want to switch off AI completely. Is anyone aware of a "delete AI around you" tool which I can use in such situations? Or any other tool like this? Thank you very much! Yes, if you have a registered version of FSUIPC, it has a Traffic Zapper feature that you can assign a hot key to. Press the assigned hot key and you can zap the traffic in your way or in the near vicinity and it will leave other traffic in the area still intact. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
March 13, 201610 yr Author This sounds great! I often thinked about getting the license, now it is time for it :-) Thank you Klaus Schmitzer i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020

I've tried to assign a key to Traffic Zapper without success. searched the net for help, found none. Would like it if you could explain it, thanks. Ric Elmore
March 14, 201610 yr Author I've tried to assign a key to Traffic Zapper without success. searched the net for help, found none. Would like it if you could explain it, thanks. I dont have tried it already, but I have researched a bit about possible problems if I get fsuipc and the zapper (in FSX you never know) Found this, maybe this helps in your case: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/57431-fsuipc-traffic-zapper-does-not-work/ Klaus Schmitzer i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
March 14, 201610 yr Commercial Member I dont want to switch off AI completely. Is anyone aware of a "delete AI around you" tool which I can use in such situations? Or any other tool like this? It might be preferable to try to get them organised instead. Check out programs like AISmooth, AISeparation, and AIController. The latter can actually make them fly SIDs and STARS properly too! FSUIPC has a Zap facility to Zap an aircraft close and directly in front of you, but it can also be set to zap all in a cylinder around you. Configuring it in the INI file is covered in the FSUIPC Advanced Users guide. Pete Win10: 22H2 19045.2728 CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz. March 15, 201610 yr I have PROATC/X and while it still happens occasionally I get a lot less TCAS incursions in PROATC/X then I got with default, or even PFE. The issue I have with separation is on the ground. Like RC4 PROATC/X will hold ground AI to let you pass. On occasion though it does it wrong and stops them right in your way, with no room to turn around it forces me to either wait til they disappear, or just go through them. Other than that, it is the best solution out there for full ATC coverage gate to gate. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
March 15, 201610 yr Author In the meantime I trie AIsmooth as mentioned by Pete - thank you for this - and I have reduced the AI to something around 15%. And soon I will buy a license for FSUIPC for using traffic zapper.
