June 29, 201411 yr So how do you think fsx or the other flightsims will play on one of these, would love to have a wider more immersive view of fsx on a single monitor rather then expanding it with matrix triple head thingy. But once these become more mainstream and the price drops i want to get one. http://www.blessthisstuff.com/stuff/technology/computers/worlds-first-curved-desktop-monitor/
June 29, 201411 yr Think you will have the same problem as the triple monitors have, elongated views at the side. I tried three screens which I thought was a great idea, then I noticed the controls to either side looked really long, aircraft that I passed grew in length and a Cessna looked the size of a 747. I switched to a larger single monitor. I've seen many post about changing different settings but none worked, something to do with how they display 3D objects onto a 2D display to be seen in a 3D world. I supposed a big curved screen would look better then three screens, but I think I'll be keeping to one. That is until they can produce a holographic cockpit to go all round me.
June 29, 201411 yr Author You can bet the price tag is up there. Bob That one was like $6500, so I'm waiting for a 6000 dollar drop in price lol

July 3, 201411 yr That one was like $6500, so I'm waiting for a 6000 dollar drop in price lol That's pretty crazy pricing when for about the same money you could get a curved 65" 4K TV. gb. Think you will have the same problem as the triple monitors have, elongated views at the side. This is really only a dual monitor equivalent so the distortion might be acceptable. gb. YSSY.
