I install FS2 crew, the process is all smooth as expected however every time I come to use the software I find that the voice doesn't stay illuminated meaning I'm unable to use the voice version which spoils the product from my point of view. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your speech recognizer needs to be set to English - US as per the manual:

If it is set to English - US, then your system is probably damaged.  Your probably ran "System Mechanic" at some point, and it damaged your system.
