July 7, 201411 yr Administrators Buy a new copy from Amazon. Rather than vent your frustrations on a DVD, use this: Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. July 7, 201411 yr I did a Google search and found several locations where you can purchase or order this product - https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=fsx+gold. I would recommend getting the Gold edition which includes Acceleration. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! July 7, 201411 yr Author Hmm. is it possible copy FSX from my second computer to a disc and then to my other computer or won't work it like that because of copyright?, caus I still have the original FSX on a lower performance computer. I've transferred FSX to my high performance computer but the problem is the software isn't copied to the hard drive so when I start FSX a pop-up prompts soon to tell me my memory isn't be able to run the program and shuts it down, while it's a high performance computer with Nvidia quit funny.
July 7, 201411 yr You need to read the Microsoft EULA on how many copies can installed on different computers. Transferring the product from one computer to another could cause a lot of problems. Registry entries are required. Activation is required. You need the required Microsoft Visuals to run FSX properly (MS Visual 2005 w/sp1). You need the required Microsoft.net framework package (version 1.1 or 2.0). So the best solution is to buy another copy (they are pretty cheap) and install it on your new computer and get that copy activated.
