Windows 8 random restart

Featured Replies

My pc keeps restarting,at least once or twice a day, each time there is a different reason given for the restart. Once I noticed there was an exclamation point by one of my drivers, so I replaced that driver, and another time it was page fault in non paged area, another it was something else, so what do I do when I keep getting conflicting information about this problem? As I said, it only happens once, maybe twice a day tops, but it is rather annoying, and potentially a bad sign of something. I'd like some ideas of what else I could try to do.

I think it could be a couple of different things...

Restarts for drivers and updates in Windows 8 can be automatic and even when you are in the middle of something if you give Windows total control of updates. I have mine set to look for updates but ask me to install them.

The page fault sounds like too high of an overclock.
