I am no expert but I just installed the SP1 for the PMDG T7 and it seems the weather radar on the T7 works just fine with OpusFSI beta - 4.00.19 (not checked with Opus FSX but probably the same).

 

I change the weather in the menu drop down and the radar changes immediately.

 

I do have ASN installed on a networked PC but have not run in in ages after moving over to Opus for weather and views.

Phil has posted a great screenshot of the PMDG 777 showing ASN and the OpusFSX Live Weather Engine (or OpusFSI) working very well together. The weather radar showing some nasty storms and turbulence of the coast of England near Royal Liverpool GC (The Open golf championship).

Of course, you could purchase the REX Weather Radar Addon when that is available and supported by PMDG.

 

With two weather radar Addons available both achieving the same results and Aerosoft's new Airbus series also providing RW weather radar, considering ALL such weather radar data is completely independent of the source of weather data, we will not be developing another radar Addon and just advise people to support other developers and buy those Addons.

 

Also when LM fix the RequestCloudState SimConnect function such data will also be easily available to all aircraft sim developers without any further Addons. Hence, it would not be cost effective for us to embark on this development when several Addon options are already available.
