  1. All sorted, sorry to disturb your viewing of more important issues. Why wasn't it working, don't know for sure, just re-installed a few sceneries and it seems to be working. I have FSX (running very well) and P3D running from the same hard drive, not sure if that had a bearing on the problem. Rob
  2. I don't seem to be able to make any jetways work. They are visible, but just don't move. In previous flight sims (FSX, FSX-SE), there has been an option to include advanced animations within settings, but in P3D 3.35, that doesn't seem to exist. I have scenery complexity on extremely dense, special effects detail & distance on high. I have checked the shortcut and that is correctly configured. The airports I have tried, are default P3D airports, FSDreamTeam & Taxi2Gate airports. The aircraft is correctly positioned at the gate. I'm stuck and would welcome any suggestions. Rob P.
  3. Thank you Kyle
  4. Is there a way of de-activating the License other than through the FMC and without FSX working?
  5. Thanks Guys for your suggestions Everything now appears to be working normally Took Mike's suggestion in removing the ARPT_RWY.data file, plus as I thought it was in an unrecoverable situation, probably caused my me uninstalling and reinstalling the 777 (not following the correct procedure) after the original FMC issue, I again uninstalled the aircraft, this time following the correct steps, then reinstalled it and everything is fine, the FMC included. Thanks for your help Rob Payne
  6. Mike Haven't ignored your suggestion, might be a day or so before I get around to trying it. Thank you, will report back soon Rob
  7. I have two folders in the FSX\PMDG folder, one 'NAVDATA' plus 'SIDSTARS' and of course all the others not relating to NavData. Yes I did install NavData as admin. The 737 is working fine and picking all relevant NavData, so it purely the 777 But now when I try to load the 777, I am getting a dark screen (in daylight), plus incomplete cockpit panels which I cannot use at all. Nothing works. This has only just happened. Rob Payne Thanks VC10Man, can confirm i Have the same setup and settings, thank you Rob Payne
  8. Thanks Kyle for your reply. I have tried lots of airports in the 'ORIGIN & DEST' entries, apparently not in the database, also tried entering a valid route in the 'CO ROUTE' entry, causing an 'INVALID ENTRY' error. Have tried uninstalling the 777, re-installing it and get the same errors. Have tried re-installing the NavData, again without success. Rob
  9. Went to use my 777LR after a few weeks away from FSX to find that I am unable to load any flightplan or navdata. Created a flightplan with PFPX, as normal, went to load the flight through 'route request' on FMC, the FMC goes through the process of sending the request, advising that the uplink is ready, I then select 'load' and it then starts going through the process of loading but then shows an error 'INVALID ROUTE UPLINK'. this happens whatever the route I used of the 14 stored, that I have used previously. I then attempt to load nav data manually, but the error 'NOT IN DATA BASE' comes up. I have tried reinstalling the Nav Data, sucessfully, the files appear to in the correct places. I use Windows10, FSX-SE and have done so, successfully since Windows 10 was released, until now. Any help would be appreciated. Rob
  10. Had this issue with SPIc, ended up, un-installing the 777 completely and then re-installing and it worked. Rob
  11. Guys I am just after some help, not wanting to get into petty comments which are not helpful! Craig, thanks for your suggestion, some weird goings on. The altitude seems to have stabilised, but I don't know why, it was doing it yesterday aswell. But checking the wind displayed on the MCP, it is showing 15 degrees/15kts, yet the Learjet in the exact same location shows 50/50kts and the Aerosoft Airbus 47/51kts and the local METAR suggest 065/67kts. Whilst you would expect maybe a couple of kts or degrees adrift, the 777 is well out. I am currently flying longhaul EGLL to VTBS and throughout the wind on the 777 has been similar to what it is now, grossly different to what I would expect with much higher wind speeds and differing directions throughout the journey, yet the weather machine and setup hasn't changed. Cannot explain this! Rob
  12. Sam, thank you for your reply. The first part, I don't use FSUIPC for the throttle. The second part, forgive me, but I puzzled, may have to email OPUS for some help. Rob
  13. Prior to the update this issue wasn't happening, since the update, the aircraft cannot hold a particular altitude, fluctuating by between 100-300 ft either side, never allowing the flight compression to take place. As mentioned this did not happen prior to the update and nothing else has changed on my system. I did have a problem installing the update and had to uninstall the 773 & 777LR and then re-install them again. I have noticed something else, on the FMC the winds are reading what I would expect, such as on my current leg at 33000ft, 303/60Kt, whereas on the map on the MCP shows of 007/09kts and that doesn't seem to change. I use Opus FSI weather, FSUIPC (resgistered version) and I have Windows 8, but as said before, none of that has changed. Any help would be appreciated. Rob
  14. Sorry to dampen the spirits of those enjoying the new update. I uninstalled the 777 completely and then re-installed it including the updates and all is now well. Such an impressive aircraft! Rob
  15. Thanks for the suggestion, tried, but it didn't work. Rob
