July 20, 201411 yr Sorry one more thing that i thought you'd need in a seperate thread: the warning/caution lights don't seem to be working correctly. If one disconnect the autopilot, for example, the EICAS red message comes up and the master warning light. But if you reconnect it again, the EICAS warning disappears (as it would in the real a/c), but the Master warning light remains illuminated. Same for the ILS antenna caution i keep getting (anyone know why?) - if it is cleared on the EICAS, it remains lit on the master caution light.
July 20, 201411 yr I'm getting the ILS antenna caution as well. Be curious if somehow has a fix. I've got both SP1 and -300. Bruce Campion-Smith Cheers, Bruce Campion-Smith

Are you pressing the master caution light (with your mouse) after it illuminates? That is necessary to extinguish the light. This is not a bug, but an accurate representation of how the master caution/warning lights work in an actual aircraft. In almost all cases, once they come on, they will not go out automatically even if the event that triggered them is cleared. You have to press the light capsule to extinguish the lamp. This is true not only of the T7, but virtually any jet transport aircraft. Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. July 21, 201411 yr The ILS antenna warning was something we found came from bad panel states. Any panel states you used before SP1 aren't compatible. Did you do a clean 777 reinstall? AJ Pongress
July 21, 201411 yr Author i didn't do a clean install as i believe the pmdg document said it wasnt necessary. I do press the caution light but it does not go out. eicas message goes but the light remains, even when the fault is cleared and rectified. but it might be a panel state thing so i will delete my original panel state and see if it changes things.

A clean install was indeed not required. However, as it was mentioned several times, panel states and saved flights created with the original release version will not work with SP1 and they will create all sorts of problems.
