Tutorial Flight

Featured Replies

I have completed the tutorial several times successfully (FMS programmed exactly as per the instructions). Now, I have saved the tutorial flight shortly before reaching TOD. When I reload this flight, the engines spool down and airspeed drops dangerously but VNAV does not descend, master warning siren starts, engine oil temperature climbs to red, electric, hydraulic and other failures are produced and so on. When I load this same flight and descend manually using MCP-speed and V/S, everything is fine.

Did you save this flight prior to installing SP1, and now you're trying to fly it after installing SP1?

No, I had deleted all my 777 flights before installing SP1.

I have just found a workaround: load the saved flight, let the systems initialize, thereafter manually load the panel state that is associated with this flight.
