Radiocomms software to recommend

Featured Replies

Hello guys, need your recommendation on a software for interactive training of pilot's RadioComms that I can learn and use while flying in VATSIM for example. I dont really need the one which is too much "professional" for extensive training of the real pilots, as I said I would like the one that would help me to start flying international flights online, both airliners and the small ones, IFR and VFR.Your recommendations are appreciated.Dirk.

Sorry, guys, anyone has heard of or used such a software?

Yes there is. It's available at Sportys and probably other on-line pilot supply sites. There are both VFR and IFR versions. If the link below doesn't work just go towww.sportys.com and type in "communications" in the search box.Regards,Jimhttp://www.sportys.com/acb/webpage.cfm?&DID=19&WebPage_ID=68

Hi Dirk,I'm sure most of us who fly on VATSIM looke at the examples given and 'got on with it' :-)The best advice I can give is visit the Pilot Resource Center (http://vatsim.net/prc) if you have not visited yet, and read all you can about VATSIM ATC 'chatter'.Also park up, out of the way, at a reasonably busy airport and sit and listen to the calls, you can even skip to the various controllers as the aircraft are handed off.Just put in your SB flight plan remarks box that you new, not flying, just learning R/THTH

Thanks guys! http://www.vatsim.net/prc site is deifinitely must read/learn for all VATSIM newbies. Most of the aspects (if not all) of flying online in VATSIM are covered there. Excellent reminder, thanks, Vulcan.I've also found Communications Trainer "Say Again, Please" at http://www.sportys.com/ (thanks to av84fun) something that I may want to buy soon.
