August 3, 201411 yr Hiya I am really trying to fly this great aircraft as best as I can, however I am coming across an issue I have recently bought FS Commander which I really like to to create plans with. Trouble is, when I come to selecting my Destination Runway and approach, a few things differ between the two Today I tried a little flight from EGKK to EBBR and in the MCDU I selected ILS25L and was greeted with a list of stars. They are similar but not the same as FS Commander Airbus: ARV04A ARV04B BATT3A BEKE1B BEKE5A KOK5A LN02A TULN4A TULN4B WOOD1B WOOD5A FS Commander versions ARVO3A ARVO3B BATT2A BEKE4A KOK4A LNO1A TULN3A TULN3B WOOD4A In FSC I can actually see the routes taken which makes it an easier way to choose. Why is there differences and how do i go about picking the right one? Many thanks Paul
August 3, 201411 yr Commercial Member Have you updated both the navdata sets of the planner and the plane to the same period? Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
August 3, 201411 yr Sync the FSCommander and Airbus X-Tended set. You need the data sets from somewhere like http://www.navigraph.com/ or the Aerosoft version. I can't speak for the Aerosoft version but the Navigraph version comes as .exe files you download the ones you need for the products you have. I tend to download one dataset per year and sync my products. Ian R Tyldesley
August 3, 201411 yr Commercial Member You have to purchase an "AIRAC Cycle" from Navdatapro or Navigraph, but make sure to download datasets for all your stuff before the month runs out, and maybe consider getting stuff for addons you're thinking about getting. August 4, 201411 yr Commercial Member You're welcome. AIRACS are not easy but not too bad once you've had a chance to play around with them. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
