August 3, 201411 yr Hi everyone. I purchased the pmdg 777 basepack about 2 or 3 days ago. And Its a true joy to fly. It looks great and handles amazing. Its great on fps too! which was the main reason I was holy off on this produce. But I realized a day ago that the cockpit doesn't make sounds when I push the buttons in the Vs. There is no V1 Rotate or V2 call outs. The pushback no longer talks to the pilot. If anyone knows a fix that would be helpful. I tried re-installing which didn't work. Thank you!

August 3, 201411 yr Sounds like an install problem to me. I mean V1 Vr V2 are options you can turn on/off in the FMC (but I think you know that ). But buttons/switches and pushback sounds are not options. Just make sure the basic FSX sound settings are all on (there are like 5 sliders under FSX/settings/sound.... turn them up). If that does not help I guess something went wrong during installing. Did you turn your antivirus scanner off during installing? You did not install FSX in the Programs folder did you? Did you install with your PC overclocked? Rob Robson
August 3, 201411 yr Could also be airline set ups as not all of them call out the readouts and is defined by cockpit configurations and Other factors. There is an option to turn the readouts on in the FMC Stewart Cumbers
August 4, 201411 yr Vr V2 I hadn't noticed Vr and V2 have also become available in the CDU? I must've had a momentary lapse back to the NGX. ;-) Name available upon request
