Did anyone see any major vendors there? I saw Redbird, but none of the others. Curious is this just me? Why isn't flight sim more represented?

 

I think people would be surprised at the current level of quality/ modern hardware.

Simply put... there's no money in it. The booths are rather pricey for a niche market.

 

Right now X-Plane doesn't feel they need to advertise as they have no active competition in their opinion. I also suspect they're busy paying legal costs to fight the patent troll their dealing with.

 

Of course Microsoft will never, ever show their face again. Lockheed-Martin has no need to be there.

 

So... what's left?

 

Oh... I was there... and Mindstar Aviation was there in force. Of course, we didn't have a booth, but we were definitely demoing new software.

I saw Redbird simulators there, and that's about it.
