Hi,

I hope I have the right forum section for this and if not, I apologize ahead of time.

I will be migrating from FS9 to P3D V2.x in the next few months. I am hoping my hardware is up to the challenge.

I have an AMD A8-5500 @ 3.2 GHz, 8 GM of RAM (I think it is DDR3), I have an ASUS Mother Board, not sure which one, Win 7/64. I purchased a GTX 780 4 GB graphics card and I have to get a new power supply to handle the card.

Is this good enough to run P3D or do I have to grovel to my wife?

Thanks in Advance.

Don't blame for my name, my parents were hippies and met in Woodstock

Hi Groovy,

As you know prepar 3d v2.2 or fsx are very CPU demanding like 90% and not much GPU demanding so i think you have to consider buying a better CPU like an i5 4670k or an i7 4770k. i suggest you to safe some money in the GPU buying a gtx760 or a 770 for getting a better CPU like those i mention above.

Have a good day!!!
