Dreamfleet A36

Featured Replies

Looking for some pilots that own the new A36 by dreamfleet. I bought the aircraft on saturday and must say, its one of those a GA lover must have. I would like to do a fly-in one weekend with just A36's. Would anyone be interested in doing this and is it something i should look in to? Would you participate in this event?I could have ATC arranged and set up. This flight would be strictly for the Dreamfleet A36. :)let me know if i should look into this.:-wave

I don't own it, but feel free to post this in the Multiplayer forum. Here is the link:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=195I recommend you just set it up and announce it, list the server ip's, whether you are using teamspeak, etc., and run with it.Have Fun,Regards,Joe****************Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Hi joe, thanks for you advice. Im not going to go through the trouble if i know only a few people would show up. I think it would be fun though. If your into payware and like GA, no way you could go wrong with this plane.. :).. *hint hint* :-wave

I haven't had time to get into multiplayer events but I will miss few opportunities to say good things about the A36.I have no time in that make and model but over 500 hours in complex/high performance singles and the A36 flys very realistically.LOTS of panel innovations and excellent sounds. The integration of the RealityXP radar and Garmin GPS...for free...make this purchase a no-brainer.Regards,Jim

Chase, FYI high detail, (poly) are usually not a good choice for multiplayer flights, they bog performance down. I did a MP session with my VA CEO the other day in the A36, had to switch to another aircraft, just to heavy.Otherwise an excellent aircraft!!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International

I agree with the high detail aircraft in the multi-player environment issue,. Also, this weekend in the states, if your a college basketball fan, it is the sweeet 16 (regionals) for the NCAA College Mens Bastball Championship.Quick statement about the A36, once I figured out how to use the GNS430, the aircraft is by far and away my favorite GA. My favorite heavy is the DF727. The detail in both of the models is outstanding.

I own it and love it!I'd recommend VATSIM for an event though.

ive tryed vatsim. to much BS involved. If this ever does occur, and if it is me supervising and over the ordeal, it will all be on a stable, reliable FSH server using teamspeak. I have tryed VATSIM, just alot of stuff involved. :)

Well, if that is your real excuse try it when SB3 is released ;-) Should be anyday now.

Hi Chase,Even if only a few show up, it would be considered a success, IMHO.I just loaded up my FSHost Spy, and sorted by pilots on-line, and the top ten had this for active pilots flying right now:10=149=88=77=56=55=44=43=42=41=3When you have a bunch of people on a server, they usually need to be tutored a bit on settings for maximum performance. If what some are saying is true about framerates on this aircraft in MP environment, having a few may be a good way to confirm or refute that claim. You can also consider doing a fly-in and opening it up to anyone with a similar speed aircraft.Design it around some good scenery locations, island hopping, poker run, etc.....If it is a well-designed event, who cares what folks fly, you'll make new friends, have fun, and people will appreciate the effort you put in to organize it.Best of Luck,Joe ****************Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a]

Do you think something up the west coast would be good? Just did SAN-NSI-VNY. Great little flight. Had some fun. I fly mainly MP only, but i hold a steady 28 or 30 in heavy traffic. What it would be like with about 10 or 15 A36's, dont know, but i hold strong in my flights.I would really like to organize something. I think it would be alot of fun. Your brought to my attention "who cares what people fly". I have several diff. views on it with that being one. I think it owuld be fun for alot of guys to do soemthing like this. Has always been a idea of mine. I would want it limited to aircraft such as the skylane, caravan, mooney, baron. Aircraft similar to the A36 for performance diff.Joe, would you possibly assist me with this even if its something possible. Could use some help.. :):-wave
