Has anyone have a full-proof recipe for Q400 in P3D v2+?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, has anyone gotten the Q400 to fly smoothly with the latest P3D (v2.x)? I still get the dreaded stutters and cannot get rid of them (I can live with the spike/bridges issue as I understand that Majestic is working on it).

Majestic had me modify the following to the mjc84.ini:

[sYSTEM]

;disableFDEtoFSXSync=1

TimingSource=1

They also told me to try different affinity masks but nothing seems to wok, Since LM suggests to try the default airplane.cfg with 2.3, I'd like to see if the Q400 will like it as is

If you have specifically done something that works, please share?

THANKS!

Tamsini, are you using fsuipc's autosave feature, as this is known to cause stutters. Also, the Dynamic Head Movement functions of opusfsx are a major cause of stutters, especially during approach/departure.

ps, this is in the wrong forum. It would draw more attention in the unofficial Majestic support forum. Maybe an admin could move this.

Dan, removing dynamic head movements in opus did indeed do the trick!
