March 28, 200521 yr Hi Jason, thanks for the reply i appreciate the help ,but do you know if Microsoft put any oil rigs/platforms into FS2004 in the sim as default ,regards.:-)
March 28, 200521 yr I seem to recall that there's one in the default senery off the coast of Texas somewhere. I believe it might even have a mission with it in the helicopter's section of flights. John Morgan "There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. No matter what the name of the country on whose land it lies, an airport is a place you can see and touch that leads to a reality that can only be thought and felt." - The Bridge Across Forever: A Love Story by Richard Bach
March 28, 200521 yr Hi Sentirus, thanks for that mate i will have a look in the morning [its 0215 UK time]and reply later in the day, regards.
March 28, 200521 yr Check:http://vkzla.com/gulfheloevent.htmlFor a route past several drill platforms off the Missisipi delta. The platforms apparently were introduced to the default scenery in FS 2004/ACOF. It will be a lengthy flight to cover this route in a helicopter. This appears to be the site of a virtual airline affiliate. An image near the top of the page appears to be a photo of a drill platform resembling the model in the simulator. Also in FS 2004, check the vicinity of KPC Port Clarence CGS NW of Nome Alaska.
March 28, 200521 yr FREEflow Ultimate Florida will have default Oil Platforms. This scenery covers the Mississippi River delta and we have placed 22 oil platforms where they are in reality.Joe W. Joe Watson Lake Placid, Florida
