The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may upgrade a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on youir computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch"

 

Any ideas over here?

The patch will not work with P3d 2.0 or 2.1. 

 

 

 

Prepar3D® v2.2 to v2.3 Professional Patch – Only use if you have version 2.2.10437.0 or 2.2.10438.0 installed!

 

If have not previously upgraded to 2.2 from one of those two earlier versions, you must uninstall P3d, then reinstall the full version of 2.3.

 

Consult Rob's (robains) thread on installing 2.3 to see how to preserve your scenery and other configuration settings if you have a bunch of 3rd party scenery installed.
