FMC <SAT in LSK2L is always in gray.

In the FMC  MENU page, and LSK2L

<SAT is still gray.

 

I read read the docs but I can not find anything about it.

Again - what makes you think that it should be operational?

 

The COMM page of the lower EICAS is similarly non-functional.  There's nothing for it to communicate with...

SAT controls the SATCOM control panel.  SATCOM is a communication platform.  There's nothing out there that simulates the SATCOM environment, so there's nothing for it to communicate with, so there's no reason to model it as functional.
