September 10, 201411 yr I'm thinking about doing a delivery of a brand new aircraft West Coast USA to Sydney. I've figured that I can create two tanks in the passenger cabin to give me an extra 80 gal (that's all she will take with a pilot.) I'm stuck how to get FSX to actually feed from them. Ideally, I'd like them to feed automatically into my wing tanks? Any other way is fine as well. I have FSUIPC. Also, does anyone know of a better routing than direct Hawaii. I can get 2000nm out of it with the tanks, but that's not exactly legal. Is there a shorter route going North or South? Once i'm at Hawaii it's easy days. Thanks.
September 10, 201411 yr Author Solved. I set them as Aux tanks rather than Center tanks and they now feed in the correct order. :-)
September 10, 201411 yr What plane did you ferry? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
September 10, 201411 yr Author Haven't done it yet. It will be a brand new Beech Duke Turbine V2.0 just waiting for it to be finished at the factory. Hopefully not far off.

September 10, 201411 yr Author I know it's crazy. I think i'm just gonna do Monterrey Bay to Hilo and wing it.
September 10, 201411 yr Haven't done it yet. It will be a brand new Beech Duke Turbine V2.0 just waiting for it to be finished at the factory. Hopefully not far off. Ah, I see. How do you incorporate such tanks? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
September 11, 201411 yr Author It was super easy. 1. Backup aircraft config. 2. Locate weight and balance position, copy the longitudinal, lateral and vertical positions 3. Paste the info in the fuel section and modify it to match the tanks already listed ( you can only call your tanks a limited number of names, the sdk has more info. Aux is recommended for it to feed correctly 4. Increase the Gross Weight under Weight and Balance to take more fuel. (The Duke can only take 2400 pounds of load and most of this taken up at full tanks anyway. I gave myself an extra 500 pounds. This sometimes happens on Ferry flights, 110% is 'relatively' easy to obtain under a Special Flight Certificate. If your aircraft has digital fuel gauges the additional fuel should show up, analog will just as full. Here's a link with examples that I based my work on. It seems like he never finished his flight.
