Fairly new to FSX.

going through checklists & there is no indication in reference as to how to action things.

The checklist tells me to check that the avionics switch is on...bt can I find it ???

Make sure the Beacon light switch is on...but can I find it???

Yes default

There is the problem.

 

The default 737-800 barely resembles a real 738. So many of the features and systems of the real deal are not included.

 

You might want to look into the PMDG NGX.

 

It has a steep learning curve but has the systems modeling down to a science. Comes with a PDF set of real world Boeing manuals as well.
