I just upgraded to Acelleration, everything works fine but now I have this dark ring sort of mid horizon in the sky.  I have REX textures and tried to reinstall a new theme but no luck.  I would show a screenshot but very strangely when I take a screenshot of it you can't see it when you look at the picture....I am guessing its a resolution thing.

 

The sky transitions from light blue to dark blue but about halfway to the top of the screen there is this 1 inch very dark texture ring.  Edges are sort of wobbly and it almost seems like a cloud type texture.  Anyone know what this is and how to fix?

Ya, I get this too, I think it's just how FSX blends everything..I bought a new monitor a few days ago and still get it. maybe try some other textures?

Everything set to 32 bit color?

Thermals - I need to check this and I will also check the 32 bit but I think so.
