Hi

I assign buttons on my saitek yoke to switch between cockpit views.

i wondered if anyone else has noticed that when they press buttons on the yoke the clouds disappear .

it is only a split second flash .it's especially noticeable in foggy weather .

I have several Saitek controls and I have never noticed this.  Are you running control through Saitek Drivers, or without FSUIPC?  I take away any P3D direct control and use FSUIPC.

This happens for me when I switch between views with EZDok.  OP, are you also using EZDok?  If so we may be able to narrow down the cause.  It's the either the volumetric fog or the ASN visibility reduction stuff(?) that flashes instantaneously.  Not really that big of a deal for me but it would be nice to eliminate the issue.

yes mate i use Ezdok,and assign buttons through that to switch between pilot and copilot views and also down to the FMC.soon as i press a button the clouds disappear.only a split second but i can see all the way to the horizon.i use REX ess for weather.i'll check whether switching off volumetric fog solves the issue.
