September 20, 201411 yr Speaking of ancient history… Going to try out another classic GA aircraft for this week's flight. This is a Ryan Navion which deserves a chance to shine. Ryan Navion B. LDR Development. Rather nice freeware by our RTWR friends at Sim-Outhouse (with a Bernt Stolle assist on the flight dynamics). Well worth the price of admission. The aircraft is available at the Sim-Outhouse Library here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?linkid=17667&catid=33 (And a image "proxy" for this particular aircraft is available from my DropBox account. The address is entered on the spreadsheet.) Stopping for hot coffee and crisp apple pie before the fun begins... --Mike MacKuen
September 20, 201411 yr Ron - So will I MIke, It looks very, very, very close to the Meyers 200 I've been seeing just about every week/weekend. FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
September 20, 201411 yr Mike, anyone, does one just put the proxy folder in airplanes 'as is' or do you rename it, losing the 'PROXY_'? The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
September 20, 201411 yr The way it looks to me, just drop it in. "PROXY_Ryan Navion_LDR " as a folder drop it in in into airplanes. FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
September 20, 201411 yr Roman is right. As ever. However, please download again (if you got it before 1445UTC on Saturday). I made an error in the assembly. (There is a texture file misnamed as "texture - copy" in the earlier DropBox posting. It is now properly named "texture". Sorry. Not enough coffee this morning.) Note that I have stripped out the panel and sound and aliased the default Mooney Bravo. (To try out the aircraft, please download the full model and do a proper installation.) --Mike MacKuen
September 20, 201411 yr Thanks Mike! The redsrib was done, the older one fit in ok. Will have to put some time in er. FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap

September 21, 201411 yr Cheers also to Jeff (taffy) I found 5 bgl files in Addon Scenery\scenery. Deleted them and Bear Gulch is what it oughta be. Another 'cheers' to Josh. DX10 fixer strikes again. More whitecaps, not 'in yer face' whitecaps but more of them. Excellent! A bit of a traumatic evening for me, three OOMs and from the sound of it, a traumatic evening for Roman. Consolation is that it can't be worse. Next week eh? The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
