Weird align problem

Featured Replies

I have two flightplans saved in the CDU,one from Seattle,USA,rwy 34R to Vancouver,Canada,rwy26L
and the other one from Seattle rwy 16L to Vancouver rwy26L

Both flight work well.

However when aligning I run into problems with the flight from Seattle rwy16L
whereas the flight from rwy 34R is ok.

Here is what I do and what I get.

1) Park the plane on the runway.
2) Into the CDU IntPos I enter KSEA
3) On the IRS panel: switch the align off and wait until the alignn lights are extinguished.
4) Switch the align to NAV
5) Entering the IRS position
6) Take off.

Now comes the weird part:

From rwy 34 R there is no problem.
From rwy16 L the plane immediately starts to turn to the left.

The legs show :

From rwy34R :  343 Track,2.3 nm
               PAE 27 nm

From rwy16L :  163 Track,2.2 nm
               PAE  27 nm

Can anybody tell me if my above procedure from 1 to 6 is correct and what my problem may be.

Thanks

Information about things like AP mode, flight route, and all that would be extremely helpful.  Otherwise, we're just taking giant shots in the dark.

There was a mix up with runways which are now corrected.

Thanks you
