KA253 Pyongyang - Khabarovsk

Recommended Posts

Hey!

It's an early morning in Pyongyang, and flights are rare. However KA253 is a scheduled flight that is normally operated by Antonov An-24 but a Tupolev Tu-134A-3 is going to fly this run.

It's cold outside, and the plane's cold as well... But once everythings warmed up we will be good to go...

And yes, we, the pilots are already quite warmed up. But we should have hidden the bottle of vodka a bit better instead of leaving it on the galley in case it would have costed our license

Pyongyang Sunan terminal, now it doesn't look strange anymore. In fact very familiar arquitecture and better looking than the boring gray filled with jetways seen in the west..

We're still not quite sobered up but entered the cockpit anyway, the batteries ran out while we were having our last drinks prior to departure hence a ground power unit was connected. But we needed this anyway, here is the view of the cockpit cold and dark:

It's going to be a lonely flight...

Electrical systems are normal... A relief on a Tu-134A-3

For you FSX only fans who think FS9 textures are ugly... Just install enhanced terrain textures and see! Ugly? No! Detailed!

Final runway 5...

A very smooth landing with a perfect flare, it's normal on the Tu-134 as the pilots always have great skill due to absence of modern computers and automated systems. You're flying... Not programming! The feeling of leaving the cockpit after a perfect flight:

And finally... Our Koryo Tu-134A-3 on the tarmac at Khabarovsk.

And if you're tired, don't worry, there won't come any more tripreports from these jets in quite a while as I'm going on real life vacations

Not tired at all, fantastic screenshots and storytelling. What Pyongyang scenery are you using? And is this plane FS2004 only?

Keep up the good work, and enjoy your holiday!

library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=89308 Patch

Both is FS9 only but the Tu-134A-3 has FSX modification, however a newbie not recommended for FSX due to bugs.
