Is this the only way to get support from PMDG?

Recommended Posts

Is the AVSIM website the "official" way to submit issues for PMDG products? I only ask because I don't see any other options on the PMDG site, and when you select support it just redirects you here...

any issues with pmdg products are only replied by using the support ticket  which you need to register first since its a different sign in thn the forum

You can always give the AVSIM PMDG forums a try first, as you might have an issue with which others are familiar.  If you don't get a solution here then try support.precisionmanuals.com.  As Pete said, to file a ticket you need to register and log on.  If it's a missing order or delivery issue, it's best to go right to PMDG's support site.

Also, the introductory manual has lots of installation & setup information that will save you a lot of time.

If you click "Support," it brings you to a PMDG Support page providing instruction on the two options that display below the dropdown that comes out when you roll your mouse over the "Support" button that you clicked on to get there.  The page clearly states that there's a product support ticket system, and a customer forum, providing links to each.  It actually takes a little bit of effort on that site to get to the forum versus the ticket system, so I'm not sure how you came to that impression.

The ticket-based system (what you're probably looking for) is linked several places from the PMDG Site, but is provided here for your reference as well.
