After the good comments about FE I took the plunge today. The install went without a hitch. I set Water Effects to High, Terrain

Hi , are you downloading real weather ? ... I`m using AS2004 with Flight Enviroment and its working perfectly ... i do recommend AS2004 to use with this because they work very well together

I have used real weather w/o FE1. I thought FE1 could be used by creating your own weather. Yep, one day soon I will add AS2004. I am always concerned about my FPS and stuttering incrases by adding to much stuff.

>After the good comments about FE I took the plunge today. >were installed, but there are only one or two clouds present>in the sky with FS installed. You are confusing two things. FE just changes clouds/sky/water textures. Number of clouds, types of clouds, number of layers are controlled by a weather program. FE is NOT a weather program. You can either use Active Sky or set up your own custom weather in FS9 (using its menu) to control the type of weather you want to see.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2
