Specific Flickering Textures

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am currently experiencing flickering on light poles, runway lines and close trees to these objects at all airports. I am not using dx10 and have struggled to find a solution. I have also used tabs/Ryan's nVidia inspector guide which has helped everything but the flickering of these textures, as well as tweaked my cfg. I am currently using orbx Tasmania demo and Brisbane freeware as my testing regions.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

My Specs:

i7 4690k

8gb Ram

2gb nVidia gtx 760

Hmmmmm... I do know that the FSX graphics option to allow scenery objects to cast shadows can cause texture flickering.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I haven't got that option ticked. Any other ideas? Would REX or GEX solve taxi lines and runway lines?

Try with a higher texture resolution in fsx settings.

All my scenery sliders are set to full except auto gen density which is almost full. I have noticed when flying at ants Brisbane that trees in the distance beyond the runway and even buildings are flickering or displaying jagged edges...
