Hey guys,

My name is Brandon and I just bought the MD-11 for FSX on friday and all the dislplays are black. I can't get anything to show up. I've been reading on it all weekend and I realize that this a very common problem with those that pirate the software so let me address this now because I know someone will bring it up. That is NOT the case lol. I still have the reciept if i need to send that in. Does anyone have any ideas of what's going on?

Thanks,

Brandon Alami

In the event that anyone had the same problem this is the fix they gave me for the fixes in the ticket I created.

Try installing the following:

Microsoft DirectX runtimes full installer:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=8109
Extract to a temporary folder such as "DXTemp" on your desktop and then run the "DXSETUP.exe" file contained in the folder.

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 runtimes:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5638

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 runtimes:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5582

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 runtimes:
http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8328

Those cover all the prerequisite files needed across our whole product line.
