April 15, 200521 yr Anybody know of a good KBWI scenery, payware or freeware? If so, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. If not, has anyone heard of any plans to cover it by any scenery designers? Thanks,Glenn Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
April 15, 200521 yr Author The only work I know of can be found at http://www.foxtrotsierra.org/index.htm - looks like it will be very nice...DJ
April 16, 200521 yr Thanks for the link.Looks like the developer is progressing nicely with this.Only concern is that in his notes he states that with 0% AI, only 20fps! Not criticising though because I would not know where to begin.Surprising that no payware developers are taking a crack at this.Regards,Glenn Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
April 16, 200521 yr Author You're quite welcome. I, too, am surprised that BWI has been so neglected by the commercial scenery folks since it is a major, high traffic, east coast hub for several airlines. On the other hand, I have excellent freeware scenery for BOS, DCA, ORF, EWR, and CLT, and look forward to BWI...DJ
April 16, 200521 yr check thihttp://fly-heather.avsim.net/index.htmls out for all the scenery you need
April 17, 200521 yr DJ,Which freeware scenery are you using for DCA and EWR?I hace G.Grimshaws KBOS which I am assuming is the one you are also talking about. Thanks,Glenn Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
April 17, 200521 yr Author DCA was originally done for FS2K2, but works fine for FS9.1 - the only lack is the progressive taxi, which has gone missing. I believe Shehryar Ansari did it. EWR was also for FS2K2 but works just fine - the author is Steve Whalin. These are both nice.DJ
