October 17, 201411 yr Hi All I have been getting lower FPS with PMDG 777 - 300 ER, which is around 19-22fps. I have currently set 31 in fsx.cfg (in the sim) and have set vertical sync 1/2 refresh rate at 30 in nVidia inspector. I am thinking of setting it to 21 in fsx.cfg and 1/3 in nvidia inspector (i.e. 20). Will this help with a smoother flight ?. My rig is 5 years old :-). October 17, 201411 yr Yes it will, Hari, but there are many parts of the fsx.cfg and Inspector which will possibly have a greater impact. You might post them here by reply, so that I and others can give you a more informed answer - ok! You might also think about moving that nice 920 up to 4 or 4.2 gig: it will do it quite easily - even to 4.48 in my case, before moving to the 2600k. Here are some notes. All the Best, pj Edit:- Set the frame rate in the sim, (as Steve says below - leaving it set "Off" in Inspector. You don't want these two fighting. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
