Simple question, I'm looking on the Chart for Heathrow MID SIDs, and I understand most of things, but one thing is at question:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/113190.jpgThe LON D3.5 entry. I can't find this waypoint, nor do I have an idea how to enter this. Any help?

3.5 Miles DME on the 128 Radial from LON VOR - depends on which FMC you are using how you enter it but most allow you to put in a waypoint as say 128/3.5

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh RADIAL!!! Why didn't I think of that before...Thanks!

Hi,It's a PBD (Place-Bearing Distance) waypoint and you should enter it as follows (Smiths FMC):LON128/3.5 (or LON128/4 if no decimals are allowed)When entered it is listed as LON01 in your legs page.

Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024
System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro

Should it not be LON308/3.5, as 128 is the backcourse.OOPs, sorry, just realised it is a sid chart and not star.

no. An FMC will steer you but necessarilly past that point. It might decide on a longer track for example. Some FMCs might have the procedure including the waypoint in their databases.
