Autopilot keeps disconnecting...

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone.

My first flight with 1c installed and as I approach NTAA (by Flightscene) the autopilot would keep disconnecting.

I have been flying this bird since day 1 so I am not an expert just VERY familiar and all systems were normal.

Any others had similar?

Kind Regards

I had the same problem last week and it was a problem with my yoke spiking,do you see the yoke move just before the AP disconnects, if you do it might be your controller needs recalibrating,in the real aircraft if you pull on the yoke it it will disconnect.

Hi dave

you do not need to be holding the joystick for spiking to happen,to test if it is your joystick  causing the problem do the flight again and once you have auto pilot on unplug the controller and see if it works OK.If it does then you know it is the joystick causing the problem. Are you calibrating through FSX or FSUIPC?If the joystick is the problem try setting a bigger null zone and decreasing the sensitivity of the joystick, hope i have been of some help let me know how it goes

I had the same problem, along with the landing gear going up or down every now and then. For me, the problem has been solved by not using a panel state that was saved before SP1c.

Hey guys thanks for the replies.  Not sure about the unplug the controller and see if it works.....I assume you mean to then plug it back in Gary??  Thanks Markus I will try a new save of a panel state.

Thanks guys

Regards

Dave

He means unplug it from your pc  and see if  the issue   goes away, if it does  than you know its your controller is causing  your issues
