October 28, 201411 yr Commercial Member it's licensed sir..i just purchased yesterday.. What Jim meant is make sure you have seen the activation text box, and inserted your serial to activate it, otherwise behaviour is unpredictable. Sometimes when users start FSX in full screen, they are unable to see it. Also, make sure all service packs Sp1, Sp1b and Sp1c are installed. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
October 28, 201411 yr Author yes sir all service packs updated yesterday..but nothin change to my fsx...still unable to see it...my pmdg 777 black my screen blacks too i dont know what to do now :(
October 28, 201411 yr A year ago I got this problem with the PMDG 777 causing a black screen (or really any aircraft). I have posted many times about it. I discovered the problem when I installed several photoscenery. I found it took a long time to load FSX and, once the startup screen came up and I selected an aircraft, it would take an abnormal amount of time again but the aircraft would still eventually show up on the screen (about 20 minutes later). I could hear my HDD thrashing. When I hit Fly Now, it would take another 30 minutes or so for FSX to load up but everything would be black until that happened. I disabled all of my photoscenery except what I needed for a particular flight and, wa-la!, the problem went away. Immediate startup. No black screens. Fantastic performance! Photoscenery loads no matter whether you will be flying over it or not. Every photoscenery in your scenery.cfg (including some Orbx/FTX products, will load. This takes up an enormous amount of resources. In the AVSIM CTD Guide we recommend you get SceneryConfigEditor 1.2. Then you can disable any and all scenery before you even load FSX/P3D. In the AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide we recommend you do not over tweak or even tweak at all. Many so-called fsx tweaks do NOT work properly for everyone and, in fact, cause major issues with the performance of FSX. The Bufferpools and affinity mask tweaks are the most common problems. Hope this helps. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
