I'm very happy with the image quality in P3D. It's such a joy to fly it's almost addictive. If I have to nitpick on sth then it's probably the shadow darkness. The darkness of cloud shadows seems to be pretty spot on. Shadows of trees and buildings are just too light and I really hope there is an option that I can make these shadows darker.

 

I'm not using HDR since I don't like it, but even with HDR on I don't think it makes a big difference on the darkness of tree and building shadows. Those shadows often times are just too light to be noticeable even.

 

 

 

You need to edit sky colour bitmaps in P3Dv2/texture.

see.  Do you know exactly which texture files to be edited? Also I just want to darken the tree and building shadows without changing anything else.
