Hi Pete, these are great shots! We are going down under again in 4 weeks and will hire a campervan from Sydney to Adelaide. This means we we will probably see most of the places shown in your pics - but unfortunately not from air. But since I have been there before, I know the scenery there is also very impressive from "ground level". :-)Wolfgang, Innsbruck/Austria (LOWI)

Hi Pete,Great shots, but...Who's watching for traffic if you're "solo", or isn't that a factor down where you are?Back when I was student pilot and flying solo, my CFI would have disected parts of my anatomy if he know I was taking photos when no-one else had the aircraft :). Then again, traffic is a factor where I fly, so that may be the difference.Anyway- some great pics, how many hours do you have?Bruce.

There was not much traffic at all! Taking a quick Photo is no more distracting then looking on your maps and charts, or working out some nav or performance calculations while flying! In fact a quick photo is less distracting!PS. I just got my PPL a few months ago. Have 65 hrsPete

Thanks. I used to live once in Victoria (both in Ballarat and Shepparton), so know the areas that you are flying in. However I never flew there, so have no idea of the traffic volumes.I have close to 160 hours, so not much more than you, and am currently into my instrument rating.Bruce.
